So terribly saddened to hear of Graham's passing. With my deepest condolences to Fiona, Samantha, Nathan and Moira. My Father knew Graham from when he first worked at Grace Bros Removals on Great Eastern Highway, Belmont and was so extremely fond of him. I worked for Graham at Millers Moves in the office. We had many conversations about the grief each of us held at losing beloved parents; Graham's Mum and my Father. Memories are precious and missing those we loved and were loved by the most seems sometimes impossible to bear. Graham is now with his Mum and he will watch over you Fiona, Samantha and Nathan who did everything he knew how to make you all safe and happy. I could not get to Graham's funeral today though I had wished so much to attend. I know Graham and my Dad, Doug Maras, will be in Heaven having a beer, talking about old Gracies days, having a bet, watching the Eagles and resting, Just resting - after a lifetime of hard work. Hi mate (Braham) you always hated me calling you that,
So sad to hear of your passing.
I cherish my memories of you when we were "besties" as the kids put it today, at high school.
We had a lot of good times and laughs together.
We were like a part of each others families.
Thankful that I caught up with you again a few years ago.
Rest in peace my friend.
Thoughts with all those that love and care for you.
Your friend now as I was then, love you Graham.
It's hard to know what to say. I saw the photo of Graham in the Death Notices of The West Australian last week. He was my cousin. And sadly we had lost touch over the years. But I recognised his cheeky face from days gone by. Fun days in our twenties. And childhood memories before that. I've often thought about Graham - but now it is too late to re-connect. Fiona, my sympathies are with you and your children. (I think I met you at Graham's mum's funeral). I tried to telephone you on a residential listing in Noranda - not sure if that was correct contact - but the phone had been disconnected. I feel very sad about Graham's passing and riddled with guilt. Life is short. My phone number is 0414 839 102 and email [email protected]
Condolences from Judi Halliday, and her brother John Halliday.
