Obituary Guest Book 5 Messages

After years of courageously fighting many life threatening illnesses, Fred was able to peacefully let go of this life at Bethanie Gwelup on the 2nd of June.

Throughout his life, he was a greatly loved husband, father, grandfather and gran-gran. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Fred lived bravely until the very end. We will endeavour to live by his values, to honour his memory.

He was truly "A remarkable force of nature".
GFELLER Fritz (Fred):

During the last few years, we have expressed our deepest feelings to each other on many occasions. So, no more words are really needed. Suffice to say, Dad was an inspirational role model to all of us - especially when facing adversity. He will always be remembered with boundless love, gratitude, admiration and respect. He lives in the very essence of our being.

Heidi, Vic, Michael, Kylie, Grant, Logan and Connor.

GFELLER Fritz (Fred):

Dear Dad and Grandad and Gran Gran

You were a proud Swiss gentleman who embraced the Australian way of life with a positive outlook. Your love for family, friends, music and traveling enriched your long life.

We admire your courage and determination in facing many significant challenges throughout your life, including serious health issues.

The precious memories of family celebrations, such as our Christmas Eve gatherings, will always be dearly treasured.

You will be sadly missed in our lives and by all who had the privilege of knowing you.

Rest peacefully now and know that we will love and honour you forever. Love Erica, Tony, Daniel, Elisa, John and Hannah.
GFELLER Fritz (Fred):

Disciplined, courageous and determined are the qualities I'll always associate with Dad, a true soldier in life. His optimism, love of music and travel and pursuit of happiness will always be remembered. 95 years is an amazing achievement. May you Rest in Peace. Love always Katherine and Alan

GFELLER Fritz (Fred):

On behalf of Fred, his family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Bethanie Gwelup for their devoted care and support over the past sixteen months. During that time, Fred's many complex medical conditions became much more challenging. The dedicated and compassionate care from so many staff (too many to mention), enhanced Fred's quality of life and enabled him to die with dignity. Mere words can not thank you enough for this priceless gift.
