Deeply saddened to hear of an old mate and mentors passing. What fun memories I have of those younger days at Swannies. "Easy oar, out bow when you can...home and dry" RIP mate. Col Buck
Wonderful memories of races rowed and good times. A privilege to have known you, Nick. Condolences to his family. Paul Bezic

GARRATT NICK So sad to hear of the sudden passing of Nick who was such a great person who inspired, helped and taught many in the rowing fraternity. His personal involvement and help with the "Old Buggers" crew at Perth Rowing Club all those years ago, will always be fondly remembered. Condolences to all his family and loved ones.
Didn't always have time to catch up but thanks for the fun, laughs and friendship. The Owens brothers and Graham Johnson.
Great oarsman and coach. Australian Rowing will miss the dedication and compassion that you gave to your athletes. We enjoyed many tough races with you at Swan River Rowing Club. So proud to have rowed with you.
GARRATT NICK Deepest Sympathy to Nick's family. Nick was loved, respected and admired by everyone he touched in the rowing community here in Perth, nationally and internationally. A truly remarkable man who will be missed by all, and none more so than his crew mates, fellow coaches and friends at the Swan River Rowing Club from the mid 1960s to the present.
Vale Nick. Well rowed.
GARRATT NICK "NG" You helped us laugh, learn, believe and achieve.
From the boat and through life, you helped so many young Aussies to be talented sportspeople AND good people.
Thank you. RIP. Webby and the Webster clan
