Our sincere condolences to Mark, Stephen, Peter, Anthony and their families for the loss of their dear father. We were honoured to meet John and his late wife Eileen during a visit they made to the UK in 2004. We have kept in touch over the years since then. A lovely man who reminded us so much of our own dear late father, his cousin, with the Foley look. Rest in peace John.

With deepest sympathy to our Australian family,

We are crushed by the loss of dear Uncle John. He was our patriarch and family historian and our link to the Foley family around the world. He was a role model as a husband, father, and public servant who was guided by his strong faith. We take great inspiration in the way he lived his life.

He will always be in our hearts.
