Eleni (Helen/Lenka), it is with much sadness and anguish that we announce your passing to the rest of the world. We thought you would outlive both of us. You enjoyed excellent health for 85 years. The sudden onset of your heart problems and rapid decline has indeed come as a shock.
Helen, you may have been short in statue but you had a huge heart and an even bigger intellect. Your size belied the steel in your character. You always stood up for your research/publications despite personal denigration from many quarters. You also had many supporters and we can safely say you have indeed been proven right! You were a strong woman in a generation where it wasn't fashionable to be opinionated.
Helen, may we say rest in peace because we know you will be fighting the injustices and the establishment up there.
Thanks for everything big sister. Jim and George.

I admire your and the Perth Group's bravery in taking on Aids Inc., with your irrefutable critique of the scientific basis in terms of the lack of isolation of the alleged HI virus. It was never a dull moment working with her as a colleague or inheriting the challenge of managing her many and varied enthusiasms.
