Mum, I will miss the Thursdays we shared together.
But the memories they will last forever.
The laughs we had, the love you gave, the way you cared.
You left a place no one can fill.
Life goes on we know but will not be the same without you.
    Mum Rest in Peace
Your loving son Mick and daughter-in-law Pasquina.

Mum, we watched you suffer, we heard you sign, But all we could do was just stand by.
We lived in hope and prayed in vain,
For God tomake you well again.
But He decided we must part, We watched you go with broken hearts.
We will miss your phone calls praying for the weather and hoping for a good day's catch. Thank you for everything you have done for us.
Love your eldest son John and daughter-in-law Anna.

Wonderful memories of our devoted mother who showed unconditional love to all of her 9 children and their families. Mum was always interested in everyone else and ready to offer a helping hand when needed. I will miss her phone calls asking about the weather, fishing conditions and catch. Farewell to our amazing mother who will finally be reunited with Dad. Don't worry Mum, I will be careful on the ocean.
Love from your youngest son Nick, daughter-in-law Lisa and grandsons Nicky, Thomas and Jack.

    To my beautiful mother,
Words cannot describe the loss and emptiness my heart feels. You were my mother and my friend and the only comfort I have is knowing you and Papa are watching down on us. How empty my days will feel now that I won't have your shopping to do. Until I see you again, I know you will always be with me, my Angel in Heaven.
Your loving daughter Geraldine, Thomas and Joelle.

  • DE CEGLIE (Filomena):
    To my beautiful Mum,
you were such a big part of our family's life, especially our children's. You are leaving an irreplaceable void and will dearly be missed. Someone who was there no matter what - an inspiration. You have taught me how to be a model daughter, mother, sister and wife. Going to miss our Sunday and Monday nights together, not to mention casino trips. Who is going to keep Alby in line now? Mum, you were such a fighter but became so tired in you last weeks. Our comfort now is knowing you are with Dad watching over us.
We love you Mum, forever in our hearts.
From your loving daughter Anna and son-in-law Alby.

  • DE CEGLIE (Filomena):
To our beautiful Mother and family Matriarch.
Admired and truly loved by everyone that knew you, you devoted your life to your family.
It is only by your shining example that the bonds of our family are so very strong. You know how much we love you and how much you mean to us. Thanks to you and Dad we have such wonderful fulfilling lives.
It was so much easier to let go knowing you lived such a rich life till the very end.
Grant her eternal rest O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon her.
Forever in our hearts, love Serg, Irene, Jeremy, Josie, Chris, Anthony and Sarah.

My beautiful Mum. We spent our lives together and I will be forever thankful that I was holding your hand as you went to Daddy. The years we shared hold so many memories that I will always treasure in my heart.
Words can't describe how much I will miss you. I feel so lost without you.
I know you and Dad will be watching down on us all.
I love you with all my heart.
    Until we meet again.
Your loving daughter Nesta and son-in-law Gennaro.

    Heavenly Father hear our prayer,
Guide our Mother with tender care.
Dear Shepherd don't leave her alone,
Love her in Heaven as we did at home.
Mum, you were a tower of strength and we will be eternally grateful for eveything you've done for us. We know whether it be amongst the waves or on a calm flat day, you will always be watching over us. Rest Peacefully.
Your loving son Sam and daughter-in-law Anna.

  • DE CEGLIE (Filomena):
    Dear Mum,
God closed your eyes to ease the pain,
To wish you back would be in vain.
You suffered so much, you told a few,
You did not deserve what you went through.
Tired and weary you made no fuss,
But tried so hard to stay with us.
    God Bless and Goodbye Fillis.
    Love Don and Irene xxx

  • DE CEGLIE (Filomena):
Our deepest condolences to John, Sam, Don, Mick, Serge, Nick, Nesta, Anna, Geraldine and their respective families, on the sad passing of their wonderful mother and grandmother.
Filomena was the matriarch of the family and a devoted, loving and caring mother of 9 children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She will always have my immense gratitude for the help she gave to my mother whilst she was alone with a young family during the war years. She was completely selfless in the help that she gave to many others in their time of need particularly in the Italian community.
We have many happy memories of this special lady who will be dearly missed. All who knew her respected and loved her. She is now reunited with her beloved wonderful husband Giuseppe.
May she rest in peace in God's care. Our thoughts are with you all.
    Joe and Coral Rotondella
