Obituary Guest Book 7 Messages

D'APRILE (GAETANO)

Born 29th July 1954, Francavilla Sicily. Passed peacefully away 23rd January 2022, aged 67 years.

Eldest son of Salvatore and Francesca. Son-in-law to Lloyd and Mavis (both dec). Much loved husband of Robyn for 45 years.

Very proud Dad of Shane, Melissa and Ryan, father-in-law to Kristy, Nathan and Danielle.

Dearly loved Grandad of 15 precious Grandchildren: Olivia, Issabelle, Noah, Isaiah, Isaac, Matteo, Jasmine (in heaven), Macey, Kaleb, Obadiah, Israel, Gracie, Truth, Pearl and Illias.

Older brother to Tony, brother-in-law to Cheryl, Dominic, Ian and Bianca. Uncle to Brad, Darren, Joshua, Luke and Jesse.

Gaetano loved his family with all of his heart and our memories of him will be treasured forever.

D'APRILE (Gaetano):

My Dear Gae,

You left us so unexpectedly and we miss you so very much. I look at your life and wonder how you ever achieved so many things in your 67 years. You loved our family with all your heart and would do anything in your power to make things right for us. You worked extraordinarily hard throughout your life to provide for your family, finding it difficult to take time out for yourself to relax.

You were extremely proud of our children Shane, Melissa and Ryan. Together we watched them grow up, being very blessed seeing each of them marry, then create and nurture beautiful families of their own. God blessed us abundantly to be Grandparents to 15 of the most amazing Grandchildren ever and you loved each one so very much.

You were a complex man yet you had a simple but precious faith in Jesus Christ who you accepted as your Lord and Saviour. I take comfort that through your faith in Jesus Christ you are now safely in His presence. You just closed your eyes and peacefully left. I'm so thankful you are now able to rest in peace from your labour, relieved of the burdens you were carrying.

I will always love you Gae and one day we will be together again.

John 3:16 For God so loved the word that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Went to be with Jesus after he was called while peacefully sleeping at home. Dearly loved Dad and Father-in-law to Ryan and Danielle, and Grandad to Isaac, Kaleb, Obadiah and Gracie.

We love you Dad and Grandad. No more stress, I'm sure you will find something to fix up there. We will see you again in heaven.

D'APRILE (Gaetano):

Forever in our hearts Dad/ Grandad, we are so blessed by the legacy you have left us in our family and our memories so precious. Your work on earth is done now and we know that you rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord. We love you and will miss you until we meet again. Shane, Kristy, Olivia, Noah and Matteo.

Our deepest condolences to Robyn and family. Such a shock to hear that our dear friend of many years had passed away. We only connected for a few weeks each year but it was always like meeting back up with a family member.

You will be truly missed Gae but we do have the confidence that we will see you again.
