CRIDDLE (Roy):
Saddened to hear of Roy's passing.
'Roy the Boy' had an exceptional influence as a teacher, mentor and friend between 1966 and 1968, during my secondary school years at John Forrest Senior High School. Much later we renewed acquaintances as opposing hockey coaches/referees at Guildford Grammar School versus Wesley College inter school fixtures.
Roy set a fine example for his students and was instrumental in my decision to become a school teacher.
Condolences to his family.

As a young migrant to Narrogin I was fortunate in being welcomed by Roy and his family.
Roy's longstanding friendship contributed to my academic and sporting journey and more recently in Roy sharing his skills as an author.
Our morning chats over coffee and a snack will be sadly missed. Heartfelt sympathy to Sean and family. Michael Detiuk.

"The Lucky Kid" lived 80 years. Roy's casual attitude masked a deep understanding and compassion. The lucky ones were the numerous students he educated, and his many old friends including Noel and Frances Hunt.

CRIDDLE ROY We note the passing of our long time teammate, Roy.
He was a fine bowler and very useful batsman, who seemed to get better with age.
We remember the great times together, both here and on overseas trips and his wise counsel.
Condolences to his family and many friends.
