CRANSTON IRIS In loving memory of our dear mother. Her three daughters were her pride and joy. The extended family of five grandchildren and four great grandchildren were treasured.

Iris was 18 when I was born and was always my favourite aunt. When I was four I was her bridesmaid, shivering in the cold! After her move to Scotland with Dave the Cranston family’s summer holiday visits to us were highlights of the year for me. From 1957 we lived on different continents but the bond already established continued and was cemented in later years on the several visits she paid to us. I was so pleased that my children could get to know her. She was always sociable, interested, game for almost anything and lived life to the full no matter what it threw at her in a way which is an example for us all. She will be missed by so many, She was a constant in my life and I shall miss that last link she provided to her generation of the Gundry family but I shall also miss her just being there. I was thrilled that at the age of 97 she mastered the art of text messaging so that we could have easy contact in those last precious weeks. We send our love to all her family who will miss a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. You are in our thoughts.
So many wonderful memories of Iris from Bridgetown days. A very dear friend. Condolences from Norma Trevaskis
