ALASDAIR WILSON 23.3.1936 - 26.12.2021
Born in Perth, he was an Educator, Commanding Officer Scotch College Cadet, Housemaster, Classics Teacher, a gentleman and an extra-ordinary person. Alasdair is held in love and esteem by his daughter Fiona, grandsons Jaiden and Marly, Sue Courtney, Bronagh Regal, Jonathan Thompson and many good friends - all of whom shared with him a dance, a song, a poem, a laugh, good food, good wine and good company.

As a 12 year old I met Al Courtney on my first day at Scotch College, 14th February 1961.
Al and Sue were the housemaster and housemistress of Campbell house, where all the first years were boarded. He was a fine educator, from memory, taught me English in 3M1. I wasn't a good student, talked too much, didn't apply myself, Dad owned a farm so education was only a fill in until I finished 3rd year, the old Junior year and went back to the wheatbelt and started work.
He did cut a mean figure in his Army uniform and Kilt. I still have my Scotch College sporran badge.
I am now 73 and remember those days and Al like it was yesterday.
My deepest sympathy to all the Courtney family on your sad loss of Al.
