Passed away 12th May 2020 aged 83. Dearly loved husband of Joy. Much loved father of Debra, Janice, Murray, Sandra and Anne, father-in-law of Ian (Giff), Ian (Wak), Donna, Luke and Ged. Adored grandpa of 13, great grandpa of 7.

You loved your farm, family and community. Forever in our hearts, always in our minds, forever by our sides.

    The Welbungin Volunteer Bushfire Brigade would like to acknowledge the very significant contribution of Ray Cooper, who sadly passed away last Tuesday 12th May 2020. Ray was Captain of the Brigade for many years and a member for 60 years. He attended fires whenever possible and conducted regular checks and servicing of the equipment at the Welbungin Fire Shed. Condolences are extended to his family. He will always be remembered with great respect and fondness.

He will be sadly missed and memories of him will be treasured. Ray has been a respected Life Member of the club for many years and spent the last 27 seasons as Time Keeper. His dedication to the club was much appreciated.

Ray loved his tennis and all that being a member of the club entailed. He would be first to arrive to set up the courts. He took responsibility to set and light the barbeque, with the firewood cut to exactly the correct length. We will miss your company Ray - tennis will not be the same without you.
