The passing of our dear friend Les Cooper, has left a big hole in pour hearts here at All Aboard Seafoods.

Les is the customer who came in for a takeaway and became a staunch friend and familiar face in our store. So much so that regular customers who would come in and see Les sitting at a table, watching TV and bantering with staff members thought he must be a member of our family, which, in a sense he was.

It will be sad not to hear him berating the news on the TV or joking with one of our other regulars who might not have supported his beloved Swan Districts footy club. Les was a ‘part of the furniture’ at All Aboard and we will miss his him dearly.

RIP Les. There will always be a place at our table for you.

RIP Les. Dedicated community volunteer for so many. Great cricket coach for my son in U 10s from the summer of 1992/93 to 1997/98. Big involvement with Midvale Football Club and Swan Districts Football Club. Hope you find a good fish 'n chip shop up there!

Old footy coach, good mates. Went to many Swans games together. As a teenager kept me out of trouble. A well regarded and respected person around Midland and Midvale. May he rest in peace.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Les.

There is barely a memory of my childhood that does not have Les in it.

Growing up across the road from Midvale PS, I saw him every day.

He was an amazing coach and mentor, and his passing will be deeply felt across the community. RIP Les
