COOK (COLIN)
Col, you were undoubtedly "Mr Swanbourne". Being born there everyone from 1930 to 1960 either were a fellow student or taught by you and knew your children who also went there. Your dedication to wife Margaret, family and Swanbourne Surf Club and your love of bees was unshakeable. Friends, neighbours and club members were supplied with honey for 70 years.
Champion State Life Saver you helped build our first club rooms. Riding a motorbike from Kalgoorlie to Perth every weekend to guard the locals at our beach was amazing.
Being a club member to the very end was remarkable. Thanks for teaching me how to run to win. Barrie Kernaghan.
