CHECKER Louis
CHECKER LOUIS JOHN Loving husband of Jan, father to Stephen and Julie and loving Poppa to six. He passed away at home after a difficult illness on 1.4.24.
As one of his grandsons said, "One of the greatest men to ever have lived".
As per his wishes, a private cremation will occur with a celebration of his life to follow at a later date.

As a kid you were my idol. I will always remember the kindness and generosity you and Jan gave me during my boarding school years, which I greatly appreciated and will never forget.

I still have the photo of a young Louis, Val gave me when we were boarders at SMC. Many years later my late husband Taff and I finally met Louis and Jan in Geraldton. Lasting happy memories. Sincere sympathy to Jan, your family and the Jensen family. God bless you all.
