Mum, what we would give for one more day with you. You taught us, your three girls, to go out into the world with curiosity and open hearts, with boundless love and care for everyone – and demonstrated by you, throughout your life as a teacher, as volunteer with the SES and Rottnest Guides, and as Mother and Grandmother. You never stopped giving, with no expectation of return. You were a pure gift. Infinite love. Jenny, Susie, Kristen.

In loving memory of Jane. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Terry and Irene. Adventurer, traveller, always compassionate and caring. Deepest sympathy to Jenny, Susie, Kristen and families.

    Always remembered with love.

My loved sister has made her fourth and last solo trip around the back tracks of Australia in her OKA.

She did the solo trip from UK across Asia on public transport, chased "Blue Arabs" in Morocco. Then "became the roof rat" of the SES and the long term guide at Rottnest.

A primary teacher and horticulturist, she leaves three daughters and four grandchildren.

Will be greatly missed by Roberta, Justin and Fenton Holland.

  • BYERS JANE It is with sadness that we say goodbye to our friend, Club member, neighbour and local, Jane. Always a smile, always so positive, always the first to put her hand up when things needed doing, always keen for an adventure. You will be missed by everyone. Green Head Sporting and Bowls Club members and the Green Head community.
