BURGOYNE GARRY Garry Royd Burgoyne (born 8.7.36) passed away quietly at Hollywood Hospital in the early hours of 4 Jan 2021. Much beloved Husband of Sucila with a partnership lasting 63 years. Loving Father of Sharon and Royd and Father-in-law to Lisa and Mark (dec). Proud Grandfather of Jack, Tim, Tristan and Isobel. BURGOYNE(GARRY ROYD) OAM
Members of the Mount Lawley/Inglewood RSL mourn the death of our Member and friend Garry; a true Aussie Digger who served his country with pride and his comrades with compassion. Garry returned from the Malayan Emergency with much more than the gratitude of two nations. Sucila joined Garry and they loved and laughed together for more than 63 years.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Sucila and family on the passing of a truly wonderful and inspirational man.
LEST WE FORGET

BURGOYNE GARRY Simply put, Garry was my best mate and friend and it was a privilege to call him so. Garry was a man's man who called a spade a spade.
An irreplaceable loss to his family and my deepest sympathy to wife Sucilia, daughter Sharon, and son Royd.
Fond memories of our bush days gathering firewood and knocking back a couple of tinnies to slacken a well earned thirst.
Rest easy Mate, I will remember you always.
Your best mate Grant Berry, and wife Pat.
