Deepest sympathy to Marilyn, Allan, David, Leanne and families for the loss of a true gentleman,

Mark I couldn’t have asked for a better mate to have spent the majority of my childhood years with (and my Mum’s favourite) from primary to high school, football, cricket, sharing family outings then into our teenage and early adulthood to the point you were the influence on my career choice, as we thought it would be cool if we were both Butchers, then life took us in different directions but you were never a stranger, although it may have been an hour long phone call every other year the laughs were always with us, but the catch ups we so promised did not eventuate, you were a life long mate and will be truly missed.

Our condolences to the Brooks family and all who loved this wonderful man, a sad and tragic loss. He was for 12 years or more a work partner, a friend, a mate and a gentleman. We will miss the fun of eating out, the bonfires, the ute rides and most of all the everyday phone calls. Tarzan, Softy, Princess, Marko, whatever you were called, we just loved ya.

Hey, Brian and Shag open up those pearly gates Softy is on his way up to see you. He left far too early on his "last hard yards drive". He is travelling light, not carrying a heavy load anymore. When he arrives unload him and park him up, job done. Look after our mate, he is a good man. Condolences to all.
