BLACK MSC Fr Walter
BLACK MSC FR WALTER With gratitude to God but sadness of heart we mark the passing of Fr Walter Black MSC, past Director of the LJ Goody Bioethics Centre, great servant of the Catholic Church in Australia and especially here in WA, a wise guide and valued mentor to many. Fr Walter made a huge contribution to the renewal of religious life in Australia and the Pacific after Vatican II, was founding chaplain to the Catholic Doctors' and Catholic Nurses Associations in WA, and provided valuable advice to many individuals and groups over many years. The current staff of the Bioethics Centre express deepest sympathy to Liz Crowe and Walter's extended family, to the MSC Community, and to all who mourn the loss of this fine man.
