Obituary Guest Book 68 Messages

BELLOS ANTHONY (TONY)

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 24th March 2021, aged 83 years. Dearly loved Husband for 61 years to Margaret. Loving Father of Alex, Kathy, Tonia and Athan. Fond Father-in-Law of Tony and Con. Adored "Bups" to Paul, Marieka, Jono, Louise, Grant, Alana, Daniel and Matthew. Proud Great Grandfather "Monty" to Jack and Rose. Forever in our hearts

BELLOS Anthony (Tony):

Dear Husband of Margaret. A man whose strength I admired. Tony had a smile for all and a heart of gold. He was so proud of his family and his many loyal friends, some from his childhood years. Thank you to all who loved him. I will miss you Tony as now we have to part, for you a peaceful rest, for me a broken heart. Margaret.

BELLOS Anthony (Tony):

My dear Dad, how incredibly blessed I am to call you Dad. You are my number one fan, always supporting and inspiring me to push the boundaries and take on new challenges. You have instilled in me your life lessons, integrity, strength, loyalty, perseverance, love and values which I will take with me from this moment forward. All who met you immediately fell in love with you. You touched so many lives with your humour, politeness ("much obliged") and cheekiness: from your beloved kindy buddies to the nurses in your final weeks. You were so entertaining to watch. You continually poured out your love for your family which we will never take for granted. I will miss your precious smiling face, your happy tears, your contagious laughter, big hugs and of course... our regular coffee dates (it's your buy next time). You are my inspiration, my hero, my Dad, and it is a great honour and privilege to be your daughter. I love you and miss you so, so much. Tonia.

BELLOS Anthony (Tony):

Dad, I admire you, I adore you and look up to you. I will never see more heart, more fight or more strength in anyone. You never told me what I should do, you showed me what I could become. You showed me the importance of never giving up, never giving in, working hard, never complaining and always remaining humble. You showed me what it takes to be a winner and a true gentleman. You are my best mate Dad, that will never change. I am so honoured and thankful that I got to spend your last days with you. I will always love you and miss you deeply. Rest well, for there will be no time to sleep when we meet again. Athan.

  • BELLOS ANTHONY In loving memory of my dear Dad who taught me the wisdom to listen, be interested and show courtesy to others. To laugh at least once every day despite what the day may bring; to drink a scotch properly; and to be courageous in adversity. Dad meant so much to so many, but he meant the world to me. I will miss him every day. May God bless him and may his memory be eternal. His loving daughter Alex.

    BELLOS (Anthony):

Monty, I am so grateful for the love you constantly gave Alex and I and our family. You always brought joy and laughter to us with a big dose of cheekiness. We became the closest of mates and we shared so many great times together. It was an honour and a privilege to be your son-in-law. No more banter but lots of memories of the fun we had. I will miss you dearly. SIL.

    BELLOS (Anthony):

Bups, you fought so hard. You remained so happy and active. I will always see you as a perfect role model, so strong, happy and genuine. I'll forever miss your laughter and your constant interest in my life. Rest peacefully, Paul.

    BELLOS (Anthony):

Dearest Bups, I can't tell you how much I'm going to miss your happy face and cheeky smile. You have given me so much love, joy and laughter over the years and have always been the person I looked up to and admired. You are a true gentleman and light up everybody's lives and every room. Thank you for everything Bups. We will love and miss you always. Love Marieka, Jono and Jack xxx

    BELLOS (Anthony):

Bups, I am beyond heartbroken that you are no longer with us. Words can't possibly capture just how special you were to all who knew you. You were an exceptional grandfather; a true inspiration of what's important in life. I will forever miss your laugh, cheeky smile, your remarkable stories and our coffees together. To say we adore you will forever be an understatement. Love Louise, Grant , Rose

  • BELLOS ANTHONY A beautiful, caring and respectful man devoted to his family. Friendships forged from young became friendships forever. Everyone he met became his friend. Dad taught me priceless life lessons of resilience, loyalty and love, and when faced with adversities, to meet them with positivity and determination. Dad was such an inspiration to me. I will miss him dearly.

It was an honour to have been his daughter.

    Kathy

    BELLOS (Anthony):

Gentleman, loyal, family man, positive attitude and the hardest worker I know, are the first thoughts that spring to mind when I think of Monty, my Father-in-law. Will miss our blue label scotch nights and our big family catch ups. Am honoured to be his Son-in-law and see the positive influence he bestowed on our children and everyone that he met. Gone, but will never ever be forgotten.

    Con

    BELLOS (Anthony):

    Dear Bups,

Thank you for being the most wonderful, caring and positive Papou. We will always cherish our nights at Herdies with you and Nan. We take solace in the fact that two of us have inherited your love for footy, and one of us, your love for olives, for this we are thankful. It has been a privilege to be your Grandchildren. Forever in our hearts.

    Alana, Daniel and Matthew xxx
