So many fond and lasting memories of Bev and Claude. Just wish I had been back from Canada more often over the years to spend more time with them but glad my son Jeff and his son Alex were able to see her again on a visit to Perth last November.
I was struck by what grandson Alex recalled to me yesterday: "We had a great conversation about what an amazing life she had with Claude and her experience as a Canadian immigrant in Australia. Despite still having quite the Canadian accent, she staunchly considered herself a Western Australian!"
Our love and prayers go out to the Balalas family as Bev and Claude stay in our hearts forever.

Dear Balalas family in Australia,
We were very sad to hear about the passing away of Berverly, your dear mother.
Beverly was a lovely person and we have such good memories of her when we were invited to your home at the time when we lived in Perth so many years ago.
Also later, when she came to visit us in Geneva with Claude, your father, and then again when Ann-Charlotte and I visited your parents on our trip to Australia in 2008. We also kept in touch every Christmas, it was always so nice to get news from you all and Beverly was so good at keeping the tradition and keeping in touch.
Thinking of you at this painful time, our warmest greetings from all the Perpignani family in Geneva.
Jean-Pierre, Ann-Charlotte, Erik and Kristofer
