  • AVERY (Peter):

Deepest sympathies to Norma, Tania, Kyle and Renee, Quintin and Emily, Lara and Graeme on the loss of Peter.

As you know, I’ve known Peter since 1980 when I started my apprenticeship at GBC and he’s been a part of my working life and one of my mates ever since. What he didn’t know about bearings wasn’t worth knowing.

I’ll miss his friendly banter and fake abuse whenever I went to the shop. If I was having a bad day, I left there happier.

I only saw him at Bunnings a few weeks ago and we had a catch up.

He absolutely lived for his family and we will all miss him greatly. The world is a lesser place without your Peter in it.

Hey Pete! You old P****! I loved you, you old bugger!

  • AVERY (Peter):

I remember Peter was mad on model aeroplane engines at school, there was like a dungeon under the school foundations that was his domain. always the smell of fuel and the noise of those engines.

I met Peter's sister in Dowerin a few years ago at the op shop while visiting with our Caravan Club.

My deepest sympathy to the Avery family on his passing.

  • AVERY PETER We would like to share the sadness that brings us and the whole Bruce-SWB families together.

Peter was not only an extremely good worker but a friend over the many years we got to know and work with him.

Peter could be boisterous but then turn that into a gentle grin and or unbelievable smile.

A man with a heart of gold, we will miss you our friend (but you will never be forgotten).

Deepest sympathies to Norma, Tania, Kyle and Renee, Quintin and Emily, Lara and Graeme.

  • AVERY PETER Deepest sympathies to Norma, Tania, Kyle and Renee, Quintin and Emily, Lara and Graeme on the loss of our great and much loved friend Peter. Pete not only gave the SWB Family 30 years of dedicated and loyal service but also showed the softer side to an otherwise seemingly hard exterior. We will miss you mate.
