ARMSTRONG

(JOHN ROBERT)

It is with great sorrow we say goodbye to John Robert Armstrong who passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday 8th September 2019.

Cherished husband of Mary, beloved father of Joanne, David and Gregory, loved father-in- law of Rob, Sharon and Tanya and adored grandad to Stephanie, Jessica, Zachariah, Charlotte, William and Thomas.

You tried so hard, you did your best.

God closed eyes and whispered, "time to rest".

ARMSTRONG

(John Robert):

11.4.1946 - 8.9.2019 How do I say goodbye to you my childhood sweetheart, my husband, my best friend, my one true love. You were my rock, my protector, my everything. I cannot imagine my life without you and I will struggle every day without you by my side. Life will never be the same and I know that I will miss you every day. Our life together has been filled with so many wonderful memories. You faced so many challenges in the last 18 months and fought so hard but this last one was just too much. Rest now Johno. My first, my last, my everything, I will love you forever.

Your Bubby Doll, Mare.

ARMSTRONG

(John Robert):

In loving memory of Dad, Mr A and Grandad. The tears in our eyes we can wipe away but the ache in our hearts will always stay. Love always, your princess Joanne, Rob, Stephanie and Jessica.

ARMSTRONG

(John Robert):

In loving memory of Dad, thank you for everything. You were always there for us, no son could have asked for more. You fought the greatest battle, courageous right to the end. I will dearly miss our weekly calls putting the world to right.

Where ever I go, whatever I do.

There will always be wonderful memories of you. Love David and Sharon.

ARMSTRONG

(John Robert):

In memory of the best father, father-in-law and grandad anyone could hope to have. To the world you were but one, but to us you were the world.

All our love, Greg, Tanya, Zac, Charlotte, Will and Tom.

ARMSTRONG

We were so sad to hear of the passing of John. Such a really top guy and one we were glad to call our friend. John excelled at cricket and then later at lawn bowls, a Legend. We can't begin to know how Mary and the Armstrong family feel at this awful time and our thoughts go out to them.
