Passed away peacefully at home in Robina, Qld
Dearly loved wife of the late William (Bill) Armour, loving mother and mother in law of Tracey (dec) and Michael, loved nan of Hayley, Kate, Jacob and Seaton and great nan of Harvey. We will miss you dearly, may you now rest in peace.
Privately farewelled.

ARMOUR (Val):
Hey Val, it's Carmen. Yes it's me just like I always said to you when you picked up the phone for a chat. Nothing has changed my lovely friend only we talk in distance now and we can chat at all hours now.
Well I did call you some mornings here at 5am and your time was 7/8am. My recent trip to Bali was one of my best holidays and will share a magic pic in an amazing restaurant called TIS in Ubud. I know you cringed the thought of Bali but I know you would see heaven amongst the views and that's where you are right now with Tracey enjoying that cuppa tea and cake overlooking the magnificent views. Bill will be sitting there musing on the mobile phone looking whatever he reads in the West Australian.
You are gone in body from the pain you have lived with for long time and we will catch up in other ways. You are often in my memories that pop up too often of my 35 years at the Fremantle Markets.
The best years were when you held the authoritarian "Market Manager" on the Sunday taking control of the whole establishment. Could you imagine that today??
You Val, a head strong woman that looked after so many people including me and I sincerely thank you but now I'm going to say cheerio as I need shower and sleep.
