One year today since I held you in my arms and said goodbye, you said please don't cry, my time is up no more pain. Now when I close my eyes I remember and treasure the 47 years of happiness, joy, sadness. Happiness for our wedding. Joy for the birth of our 2 children and 3 granddaughters. Sadness when Zane died. Unbearable now I've lost you...I remember your cheeky smile, jokes which made no sense. Love we shared, you left a place no one can ever fill. I miss you so much and always will. We cried together when your pain became unbearable. One day we will be together.
