Twelve months today and not a day has gone by where you are not in my thoughts. Each day I still expect to see your smiling face and open arms when I get home. The void you left will never be filled.
It has been said, "Time heals all wounds." I do not agree. In time the mind covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens but it is never gone.
