JONES (Gladys): Thank you Mum for the 70 years I lived with you. When I left to get married and moved away I knew that you would be OK as my sister Delys and Rod were still there. I knew she would take my place and look after you like I had done for 70 years. Leaving you was hard but to meet my childhood sweetheart was a miracle. As I drove out of my driveway I cried for the 7 hour journey but knew I now had a chance of happiness. With an extended family they have embraced me. Thank you to Sandra and Jim for their financial help to Mum, also to Doug and Val for their visits to Merredin. I think of you every day and the times and memories we shared together. Your devoted son Kevin and daughter-in-law Gwennie.
