Ernie, one long year. There is a big hole in my heart and in my life. Nothing is the same. The football isn't the same without your unbiased interpretation. The news and current affairs aren't as interesting without our chats and debates but the love and respect and the memories that many people have of you comes back to us. We have been supported by family, friends and many strangers with kindness and care. I know that you would be pleased that we are going forward in a world that is not complete but manageable.
