CAMERON (MARGARET JEAN) (NEE PEGGY PUTTICK, OF GILES)

28 May 1920 - 8 June 2011

In memory of a remarkable woman who was born a century ago today. From feeding calves to cooking for the Prime Minister and a Governor General of the day, Peg travelled many different and varied paths through her life. Her legacy lives on in the memories of the people she met and helped along the way; and her turn of phrase, travel diaries and letters are legendary. It was not always an easy life but at the end of it she would say "I am a lucky old lady". She was our Mother and we could not have asked for better.
