Grandpa Bryan, you were a wonderful grandpa and role model to both Philip and Josh while growing up to become the men they are today. You were the only grandpa they ever had and they loved you dearly. You were also an important presence in my life as adopted daughter-in-law. We all have learned from you how faith in God, tolerance, patience, humour, perseverance through obstacles, love for one’s family and love for all, can enrich people’s lives and make the world a better place. Thank you for never judging us and unconditionally accepting us into your family.
All our love, Silvia, Philip and Joshua.
(BRYAN HARRY BENNETT)
Passed away peacefully Saturday 29th July.
We were blessed among children to have you as our Father. You were the most unselfish parent sacrificing your own needs to ensure your children had opportunities.
The greatest gift you gave us was to adore our Mother. Your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren salute you. Jennifer, Debra, Nigel and David.
Dad, you were my mentor, spiritual guide, wise counsel, sounding board and friend. Berwyn and I could not have asked for a better father and father-in-law. My boys loved you beyond measure, your contribution to our family priceless.
We look forward to a reunion at the resurrection. Jennifer, Berwyn and family.
Dad, you were full of positive enthusiasm, guiding me and encouraging me in every aspect of my life. Thank you for your spiritual guidance which helped me develop a strong unwavering faith.
Thank you for being such an amazing Dad.
Rest peacefully now with Mum until we meet again. Debra.
WOOD BRYAN Dad, you gave us the gift of life and love for life. You lived a full, devoted and courageous life, and never settled for mediocrity or injustice. Your presence will be sadly missed but your memory will live in our hearts forever.
David, Kerry, Rebecca, Emily, Adam and Hannah.
WOOD BRYAN Dad, your wisdom and counsel grounded me. You saw good in everyone and made the best of every situation. Your love of family was a warm blanket that sheltered us. You gave everything and expected nothing. Your legacy has been writ large. Be at peace with Mum. Nigel, Bernie, Philip, Chloe, Sara
Grandpa, Great Grandpa Your voice so deeply full of kindness, love and wisdom. Your voice full of stories, lessons and guidance, patience and care. Your voice always leading the songs of celebration that marked every significant family event. While my ears grieve the loss of your special voice, my heart will forever hold it dear. Chloe, Azim, Eiman, Aisha, Yomna and Idris
Grandpa, Great Grandpa Swimming at the beach on your back being sharks, barley sugars on the drive home. Combing your hair with your round comb every time you jumped in the car. Golden memories created by you. Love always. Sara, Brett, Emme and Damon
