It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brian. Cherished and loving husband of Marion for 54 years. Much loved and loving father of Natalie, Philippa and Zoe. Admired and respected father-in-law of Stewart, Richard and Andrew. Treasured and devoted grandad of Harrison, Quinn and Sheldon.

Brian fought a courageous but unwinnable battle against MND.

At peace now my darling. Love Marion

    SMITH (Brian Garnet):

Much loved father of Natalie, father-in-law of Stewart and grandad of Quinn. You fought the good fight. Will meet again for that legendary honkey nut battle in the sky.

    Nat, Stew and Quinn

    SMITH (Brian Garnet):

Loving memories of our Dad, grandad and father- in-law. You will be in our hearts forever and we will miss you dearly. Your courage and spirit will be with us always. We have so many special memories to treasure.

    Philippa, Richard, Harrison and Sheldon

    SMITH (Brian Garnet):

Cherished father of Zoe and much loved father- in-law of Andrew. Dad was an amazing man, taken from us too soon. He accepted his fate with such dignity and was so brave and strong right to the very end. We miss you so much already but are steadfast in the knowledge that we will meet again. Until then, be at peace. Zoe and Andrew

  • SMITH BRIAN Our deepest sympathy to Marion, Natalie, Philippa, Zoe and their families on the very sad loss of their beloved husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather who passed away on the 9th of April.

Brian, my brother, was so courageous in his fight against the disease that invaded his body. He may no longer be with us in a physical sense but his beautiful spirit will remain with us forever.

I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to spend time with him over the past months reminiscing on some of the special moments we shared throughout our lifetime.

May he rest in peace - he certainly deserves to do so.

    Jan and Bruce Graham

  • SMITH BRIAN Deepest sympathy to Marion and Family for your sad loss.

Brian was much loved by us all, a very talented artist and a gentleman from the "life at the Coal Face" art group formerly the Hackett Hall art group where Brian drew with us.
