On Wednesday, you were able to embrace your last born son into your arms once more. As he left ours to be with you. Sorry we couldn't protect him from the demons that rule the mind. Send him our love please and give him extra cuddles dad. Love you both very much and miss you every day xxx

I miss you everyday Dad, I still think you're here. You missed out on seeing Dane and Jono get married, it was amazing. You were able to attend their sim wedding though. I love you xx

POWELL (Steven):

Well we have had our first, first, without you - Father's Day - the kids were terrific, all pulled together and helped support each other even though they each had their own battles during the day. You would have been proud of them and how they have come together. I miss you and am struggling to understand what happened, but I love you and miss you and am sorry for letting you down. I am sure you have had a great chance to catch up with your Mum and Dad, copped a couple of 'tummy punches' from Wearne. Please give Mum and Dad and Neville my love, of course that also includes Bert and May etc. Keep watching over us and I know that you will be there for all the big times to come, Love always Yvonne xx

Hi Steve, boy you sure know how to shock people. Sorry we never got to say Goodbye. Thought today was a good day to say Hi. Your first Father's Day in your new surroundings. Hope you and your Father enjoy your first together in awhile. I'm sure there will be quiet a few Fathers joining together there. Remember you will all be very much missed today.

POWELL STEVEN Born in Collie on 02 Oct 1955 to May and Bert Powell. You left suddenly on the 07 Aug 2021 at Fiona Stanley, picking your time and way, as only you could do. We are all so glad that you did not suffer and looked so peaceful. You will be missed so much, by so many, but I know that you will be in the arms of others that love you and will look after you.

POWELL STEVEN Passed away suddenly at Fiona Stanley on 7 August 2021. Loving husband of Yvonne, Loving and proud Father of Dane, Brent, Logan, Carris, Wade and Zak. Father in Law of Jono, Michelle, Amie and Sam. Grandpa to Blake, Emelia, Ruby and Keira. Will be greatly missed by all. RIP with your family and friends.
