  • PEASLEY (Dr William):

Great memories of Bill, Anne and family - our neighbours in Port Hedland in the 1960s - picking oysters off the rocks below our houses, fishing trips in our boat, aircraft and road trips to the outlying towns and stations - a great life of success and achievement with modesty and self-effacement. Vale Bill.

  • PEASLEY (Dr William):

Bill accomplished many things in his life. We are proud of his achievements as a historian, a medical professional, a war service veteran and a loving father and grandfather.

He will be sadly missed by Mark, Sonja, Libby and Jonno.

  • PEASLEY (Dr William John AM):

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr Bill on your sad loss.

Bill (Wati Yinna) thank you for all of the friendship, support, encouragement and assistance you gave me for my 4wdrive expeditions and for my books.

Bill your life is best summed up by the citation for your AM, awarded 8 June 2015: ‘For significant service to the community as an inland explorer, historian and author, and as a general practitioner.’

Bill, Australia has lost one of its very important sons, it was a great pleasure to have known you and may you rest in peace.

    Phil Bianchi OAM.

  • PEASLEY WILLIAM On behalf of the WADMS Board, Management, Staff and Doctors, we offer our sincere condolences to the family of Dr Bill Peasley.

As a foundation doctor working on our service back in 1977 and then for the following 32 years, you were a very valued member of our locum family. Though you may have retired some 10 years ago, your amazing bedside manner is still talked about today and we will fondly remember you always. May you rest in peace Bill.
