  • PASKOS (Donald):

    My little buddy Donald

I have such warm and wonderful memories of our time together growing up in Tuart Hill. How many times did we jump the back fence to spend the day together? How much time did we spend swimming in your pool? Remember the day we jumped into the deep end for the first time? Of course you went first. You were a rascal and everybody loved that in you. Hitch-hiking to the beach with that massive thumbs up sign is forever etched in my memory.

By the way Don, mum and dad will have some stuffed grape leaves for you, so be sure to look them up.

    Rest in peace my friend.

Goodbye for now my old school friend, fond memories you leave me of riding our bikes with surfboards under arm to Trigg's point in the mid 70's , exploring the lost tunnels of Rotto, teaching me how to fish properly, summer nights on skateboards, me trying to teach you the guitar. I'll be listening out for your harmonica in the Dreaming bro where I'm sure we will meet again. Deepest sympathy to the entire Paskos family, I have never forgotten the kindness and  hospitality you gave me. My thoughts are prayers are with you all.

To our dear childhood neighbours, family Doctor & friends the Paskos’s.

How very sad I was to hear from Deb that Donald was very ill and passed away this past week. Sadly we’re overseas and couldn’t be with you today as I wished to be. Beside you.

I have memories of Donald playing closely with my brother Michael, often chasing or devising mischief against Deb and I. The terrible duo. We Emmanuel’s often included and embraced by your family.

God bless you all at this painful time, treasure each other and hopefully sometime in the near future we can meet again and  together over a drink remember fondly our dear Donald.

  • PASKOS DONALD WILLIAM A beloved son and brother.

Taken too soon from us. You lit up our lives in a myriad of ways, and travelled your road alone at times.

Your parting gift - you came back home and brought us all back together, strengthening the love we have always had for you and each other.

Carrying you forever in our hearts Dons.

Your loving father Don and adoring mother Pauline (dec), and brothers and sisters Mark, Gina, Phillip, Deborah, Andrew (dec), Michael and Elizabeth.

  • PASKOS DONALD WILLIAM You went away peacefully Donny. We didn't get to say goodbye but little brother, we will never really be parted. Precious memories never die.

You are with Mom and Andy now, in a place with no sadness or pain. Lots of love for you little brother. I will give you a call when you settle in. Phil

  • PASKOS DONALD Don, brother. I am thinking of your grin as I write this notice. Your wild hair. Your fearlessness. Our times at Rottnest when you led the way. I always felt safe knowing you were in the water next to me. Brother of mine, brother to us all (and son of Don Snr and Pauline), I miss you and will always remember you with love. Please give Mum and Andy a big hug from me.

    Love Mick, Molly and Pablo.

  • PASKOS DON JNR Mama, take this badge off of me, I can't use it anymore. It's gettin' dark, too dark to see, I feel I'm knockin' on heaven's door.

Mama, put my guns in the ground, I can't shoot them anymore. That long black cloud is comin' down, I feel I'm knocking on heaven's door. My Brother, you rolled like a stone and blew with the wind and now you're knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door.
