Br Laurie, whose effervescent joy in living was only surpassed by his deep faith, empathy, compassion, generosity and loyalty. His certain faith in God's unconditional love was born of and mirrored to him by his twin and soulmate Br Peter. Ever devoted to his family, the Brothers, his friends Laurie's memory will be held in our hearts until we meet again. Rest in peace and love. Sincere sympathy to all the family. Mary Noonan
Condolences to Br Peter and families. Fond memories of an inspiring teacher in 1975 and I had the privilege of working with Laurie at AC in the boarding school in mid 1980's. A great teacher of life, golf and God, always done with laughter. Laurie was one of those teachers we remember and appreciate his influence. One of a kind. Thanks Laurie.
NEGUS (BR LAURIE)
Much loved Christian Brother and brother to many whose lives he touched with his joyful and fun-filled presence. His outreach extended from Nulungu in Broome to Clontarf Aboriginal College and to East Africa.
A true son of Edmund Rice whose compassionate presence gladdened the hearts of all he met.
May his generous soul now rest in peace.
