I love you Mom. You were my first love, and you leave a hole in my heart where you resided. I will miss your wisdom, fun sense of humor, beautiful face and personality, winning smile, your deep belly laugh, your love of life, and your courage to do what others thought foolish. May your eternal visit be all that we hope for you. Say hello to everyone there for me with a hug and a kiss, and tell them I miss all of you deeply. I am glad your suffering was minimal and short lived. So happy you had Barb to help you through those final stages. She is a blessing we all appreciate. Watch over us, and come visit in our minds, in our hearts, and our conscious states. Show us your new Monarch wings often, and rest assured your monarchy here on earth will continue to shine like the bright star you are. I love you to the moon and back and more than I can ever say. You will be with us always. Love and big hugs. Your daughter Linda.

I will forever remember Olive's touching tribute to my mother(Vi Hille, later Vi Collett), at the viewing of mom's body, at the mortuary, prior to mom's funeral service in March 2000. After we had all been gathered around mom's coffin for a short while, Olive walked around to the head of mom's coffin, knelt on her knees, closed her eyes and started praying. Our whole family was very moved by Olives' gracious gesture to our mother!

Our families first met sometime after my parents brought our family to Perth, from Eugene, Oregon, in 1967. Mom and Olive remained good friends, meeting in downtown Perth, about twice a year, until mom's death.
