To Lyn, your family, Emma, Rob, Geoff and their families, we offer our deepest condolences.

We were all very fortunate to have spent time with Tony, whether that was on the cricket field, adventuring in the wild chasing marron or sitting around with a glass of wine listening to the stories. Tony was an inspirational leader, competitor and mentor, loved and revered by so many. The time has come to celebrate his amazing life.

My deepest condolences to the Mann family. I was privileged to have known and be associated with such a great gentleman and was fortunate to have been guided by Tony in my coaching career. Tony brought me into the WACA cricket department with assisting junior cricket and appointed me as the WACA and ACB international liaison officer for all international matches at Perth. He always encouraged me to pursue my passion for cricket. A very sad time for Australian cricket.

  • MANN Tony ANTHONY Through tears, I have to say goodbye to a true gentleman of cricket, Tony Mann. Baggy Green #285 was the second man in Test history to score a century after being sent in as nightwatchman. A man who had passion, love and drive for Western Australian cricket. Bamboozling opposition with his Wrong'un and quick wit. He changed my life by asking me to bowl leg spin and never giving up on me even when I gave up on myself. Meet you at the Big Nets Legend. I will always add a bit of water and ice to my white wines buddy. Thank you can never be enough. Shit this hurts!
