I'm utterly shattered to hear of Danny's passing. He was my first friend in the world and I'll never forget him! We had so many adventures together as young boys - moments I've always cherished and will continue to cherish for the rest of my life. He was the "Ponch" to my Jon when we played CHiPs on our bikes and our other favourite game "Men" where we would pretend we were adults. Our other great dream as boys was to drive trucks - something that you achieved! I'm so grateful we got to reconnect recently on Facebook and had the chance to relive those precious memories, I never suspected we'd never meet again and I can't express how much that saddens me. I'm sure you're at peace now and only hope we get to play again in another world! I'll remember you forever mate - rest easy. Simon
R. I. P Danny.
You will be missed.
I've known you most of my life I will be lost without you
We were shocked and deeply saddened to read of Danny's passing. Our heartfelt sympathy to Adrian and Danny's partner and children and friends. He was Simon's first and best playmate in Boya when they were five years old til they were nine, wearing a track between our houses, fun and games and mischief! Life takes us in different directions but over the years we saw Danny several times, often a toot and a big wave as he drove by. When we last spoke to him he was very proud of his family. We expect Danny was loved by all with his kind and friendly nature and will be so sorely missed. Rest in peace Danny, we will always remember you and that beautiful smile. Love the Lee family, Nola, Stuart, Simon and Angie. Mt. Martha, Victoria.
Sad news. Rekindled memories of a happy, lively and always polite little boy at Helena Valley Primary school. In fact whenever you accidentally met Danny in the area as a young man he was invariably polite and chatty. David Edwards will be sorry to hear this news. Sympathy to the family.
I knew Danny from Primary school, I apparently pierced his ear! He remembered when we caught up a few years ago, I have lost a son a child of my own and know the ache and loss that leaves but, he lives on in the stuff of other peoples lives that go on and remember him, quick with a smile and Joke. I only found out today and I can say whenever I saw him he was a good man a good friend, sadly missed.
