HARRIS (Rev Peter):
You had a special impact on so many people, and the community. Thanks for been such a positive influence in my life.
7.8.1931 - 1.1.2020 Beloved Husband of Dorothy Isobel (nee Husbands) and Father of Pauline, Valerie, Barbara, Margaret and Peter. Pop to Ellerby (dec), Asher, Rhiannon, Samuel, Mia, Kael, Gabrielle (dec), Fletcher, Eden, Flynn, Meg, Dylan and Michael. Great grandfather to Milla, Logan and Ryker; Amarni; Charlie and Oakley; and those yet to come. Peter was nursed at his home, Agga Farm, by his loving Family in the final months of the disease, myelodysplasia.
He chose to leave us on the first day of the new year.
HARRIS PETER My rock and loving husband. We will never forget our last Christmas singing carols around your bed. Daybreak over "Agga" hills - a last goodbye, a new beginning. Your love, strength and values will guide us. Thank you, my love, for our 65 years together, the memories will last forever. I will wear your pearl always. God bless, Dot.
HARRIS PETER Father, Dear Father
Your interest in all things, both local and global, your faith, your commitment to community, and your ‘can do' attitude will be profoundly missed but your unceasing love of family will live on in us.
Barbara and Harley
Fletch, Grace, Charlie and Oakley
HARRIS PETER You were many things to many people.
But to us, you were our Father, Pop and Friend.
Thank you for your love and for the example you set.
Your legacy will live on in us all, and in those yet to come.
A life lived well.
With our eternal love,
Margaret and Lindsay; Samuel and Sally; Kael and Hayley; Eden and Nick
HARRIS PETER When the sun is rising east, I will think of you, dear Papa. You were our beginning and we were at your end. 88 years well lived and much loved by us all - we shan't look upon your likes again. Valerie, Simon, Ellerby (dec), Rhiannon and Amarni, Gabrielle (dec), Flynn and Jasmeet.
Passed away 01.01.2020. Our deepest sympathy to my sister Dorothy and her family for the sad loss of her husband and father of their 5 children.
May he rest in peace. Fay and Viv Husbands.
