GENOVESE (Sam):

Sam and Sandra the most amazing couple that one could ever have the pleasure of meeting. I met Sam at Dome Cafe in Mount Hawthorn. This beautiful couple would come every weekend and it would light up the whole cafe. I am away from my home and away from my family who are in India and Sam and Sandra made me so loved and never let me feel the absence of my family.

I remember Sam with his cuff links, his sling bag, books and diaries in his hand all work related documents, chain in his neck with all the keys.

This man was the epitome of success, how focused and business oriented he was in this age blew my mind.

Someone who would treat a mere cafe manager with so much love is beyond me. When my parents visited from India - I had raved so much about Sam and Sandra that they had to meet them/ I'll remember Sam by these beautiful photos always .. I’ll miss you Sam. I can’t imagine seeing Sandra in future without her Sam.

GENOVESE SALVATORE Over is his time for this earth, a small step of the soul's experience, he never awaited death, his mind too full of potential projects/plans, rather it crept upon him, none predicted this as the year of his end.

His earthly concerns now departed, no more battles to be had, we are not to be weighed down by this rather enlightened by this realisation.

So now the ways of the world no longer distract you from the greater goal, continuing to grow in the afterlife - may you find your true serenity.

Many lives you have touched, many people you have met, helped, given meaningful employ, enabling partnerships and relationships to seed and growth and other families to blossom, all this with the endless support of your wife and three sons who dedicated their lives to the family business and still.

Sandra, Mum, she grew old with you, endlessly by your side, always, the fiery Sicilian way threatening your journey as one at times, but through each hardship faced together you just grew stronger, what an example for all of us, "in good times and bad."

And thus life succeeds in which it seems to fail; yes it has, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a successful businessman for over 50 years. The pain of disagreements, setbacks, led to success beyond measure. You had travelled the world in a comfortable seat all the while acknowledging being "blessed" attributing this to "hard work" and dedication over all these years.

Recent weeks brought pain, now he sleeps, you fought the storm but clouds could not be parted this time, your body tired having spent all its time - ascend a finite heart that yearned to build and grow.

And with this now the end of an era, love for you and all the good you imparted to us, we are your family, your greatest creation.

We worked together for many years, lots of work dinners, functions and family events....we did the lot....You were larger than life and we can only imagine the void you will leave.
