  • DAY (Michael):

Sincere condolences to the Day family. Mick was my boss for several years at SNC-L in Toronto, Canada and I worked directly for him. We remained in occasional contact after his relocation to Australia, and I always appreciated it when he reached out with an e-mail or Facebook message, invariably with an acerbic humorous tone. He was one of the best bosses I ever had, a straight shooter who took no prisoners, and a very intelligent man when it came to the mining and engineering world that we both inhabited for a while. He also had pretty good taste in music.

    Rest in peace Mick.
