Our treasured mother and grandmother, Helen, passed away peacefully at Busselton Hospice on 21st October, with the same grace and dignity as she lived her life. She was in her 97th year.

Helen was the second youngest daughter of Robert and Myrtle Gamble of Wyalkatchem and Dunsborough and sister to Dorothy Peet, Max, Walter, Arthur, Wyn Hewton (all dec) and Betty Symes.

Helen was the loving wife of John Davis (dec) for 67 years, and truly wonderful mother of Sandra and Ian, Tony and Merle, Robert and Han Jie, Mike (dec) and Yani, Kim and Margaret, and Shelly (dec).

Especially loved Little Nana to her 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

As well as her family Helen enriched the lives of many others with her special creative skills, and her gentleness, wisdom and empathy.

    So many beautiful memories

Helen will always be with us.

    DAVIS (Helen):

Cherished mother of Sandra and Ian, dearly loved grandmother of Mia, Simon and Natalie, and Ben and Lucrezia.

Dearest Little Nana to Ruby, Banjo, Oscar, Kahlia, Hemi and Indianna.

You gave something special to each of us and we have these memories to treasure. Resting Peacefully now after a wonderful, giving life.

    DAVIS (Helen):

I was blessed with having the loveliest of mothers. Mum's name Helen, meaning Shining Light, was perfect for her.

Such a shining light for me all through my life, Mum showed the way. We shared much along life's journey and I saw her gentle strength and resilience, and how she gave herself to others. I always felt her love. Forever in my heart, my sweet gentle mother.

    Love, Sandra

    DAVIS (Helen):

My mother, mother-in-law to Margaret, grandmother to Esme and Kristy and great grandmother to Elora, Jaime, and Hayley.

Always a mother, a wise friend and guide in our lives. Her strength of character and fine nature will keep her in our minds and hearts forever.

    Kim

    DAVIS (Helen):

Wonderful mother, much loved, and forever missed. With our love, goodbye. Rob and Han Jie Davis, and your grandchildren Lisa, Sharon and Christopher.
