    Aunty Crystal,

You were such an inspiration to me, you were so determined and fought to make a better life for you and your kids. I always felt so loved and felt that you believed in me. I will never forget your kindness and attention when you had me fly over and stay with you and Michael after my illness at age 17. I remember telling you about something I hoped to do and you saying to me “Ok, what are you going to do to make it happen? What is the first step?”

I’m sure you fought your illness with your usual strength, practicality and single-mindedness. I am so heartbroken that you didn’t get more time to enjoy your family and life with Wayne. My love goes to Sarah, Katie, Michael and your families.

You were a very special lady, loving, tough and honest. I will never forget you.

Love Nicole Cree, Phil Cook, Hudson and Ashton

You were a credit to your family, a loving partner for Wayne, a superb professional in the medical profession. We were separated by the tyranny of distance but love overcome that. Goodbye darling, rest in peace.

Crystal.. you were so awesome to me. I was a part of the furniture at the place on King George's Rd. I always felt welcomed and cared for. You set the tone and bar of excellence. Working and studying and taking care of your kids. Legend. I have never forgotten your kindness. May you rest in peace. Luv Theresa (green) xxx

Deepest sympathy to Wayne and family, there aren’t enough words to describe the woman and professional she was. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Love and hugs Leah and Jeff Hansen

  • CREE CRYSTAL Passed away 22.08.2019 You changed me the day we met. You changed me the 20 years we were together. You changed me the day you passed away. No greater privilege could my life have had than to be your husband and companion all these years. I am just one of a large group who have had their life inspired by your example. Part of me is yours for eternity. Wayne.
