Charlie Burr had everything a decent man needs. He was down to earth, hardworking, honest, genuine and kind. He had his own style and an open-minded wisdom not often found in men of his generation and demographic. He had a pretty dry sense of humour too! After he moved to Perth he was a regular feature of all Burr household social activities. He always had a smile and a kind word and everyone loved him. His eyes lit up when he was around his granddaughters (D, J and M). You don’t forget people like Charlie! He lived a good life and he will be missed by all those who knew him and particularly by Bruce, Renu, Devika, Janaki and Meenakshi. David, Priya and Suraiya.
BURR CHARLES Born Kellerberrin 28.11.1922. Devoted husband of Adrienne (dec) and father and father- in-law of Robert and Anne, David (dec) and Julie, Bruce and Renu. Grandfather of 9, great-grandfather of 9. Passed away peacefully on 6.7.2019. Thank you to all the staff at Acacia Menora for your kindness to and care of Charlie.
