  • BOLDY (Duncan):

During my Masters Research, I was fortunate to be in your presence (1988) You were a wonderful, talented and dedicated man; showing such warmth, compassion and good humour to a student bringing a special needs, premature infant to classes. You will be forever remembered. RIP

So very glad we had the chance to catch up with you both in your beautiful home in Denmark. Your time was too short Duncan - you gave so much, but had so much more to give. Loving sympathy to Ruth and family.

So sad to lose such a good friend and one of natures gentlemen who left us too soon. Gym and coffee will not be the same without you. Thank you for being part of my life even if only for a brief period of time. Sincere sympathy to Ruth, sons and grand kids.

  • BOLDY DUNCAN (Peter):

Vale my friend Duncan. Duncan was a colleague, mentor, supervisor, supporter and true friend for many years. He worked with me to establish the Centre for Research on Ageing and helped me to establish this innovative and important Centre over the 15 years of its existence. Duncan was always positive, ever hopeful and encouraging and provided academic and personal leadership to the team. He was a wonderful supervisor for my PhD and a personal friend. I valued his advice and his support and am indebted to him for my academic growth. He will be very missed by so many. My deepest sympathy and love to Ruth and family.
