To my beautiful future father in law, Joccy.

We didn’t get to spend enough time together Joc, but I will forever treasure the memories I have with you.

You were a kind and beautiful soul, and you always made my family and I feel so welcome and loved. You were an outstanding man and I feel so privileged for being a part of your life.

Ben and I named our son, Jack, in your honour, and we know you will always be watching over him.

Always thinking of you and missing your cheeky face!

    Love, Alicia xx

Dad and Best Grandad on this planet.

You were always our go to person when the family needed help, advice or proof reading of important documents or letter writing. You were our rock of the family and loved us all equally and unconditionally. We loved our weekly dinner dates and Brendan and Phoenix cherished their Friday visits filled with chocolate, ice-cream, donuts and Hungry Jacks. Phoenix loved his Grandad so much that every time he mentioned your name his eyes lit up with a smile from ear to ear. He still talks about you every day.

You always put family including friends first, especially during sickness and health. You were a true gentleman and well respected by everyone. I hope we have all done you proud and you sit up in the skies knowing we are all going to be loved and be okay.

My Grandad always, You were amazing in every way you could be. I will always and forever miss you . Every time we stepped foot into your house I would always see you sitting on the couch with the most happiest smile you could ever have. I will miss you forever and ever, but you will always forever be in our hearts, truly. I will see you every day in my hearts smiling down on us! Every time I think of you I want to run up and give you the biggest hug and a kiss on the cheek. You will be missed always and forever. I love you 😘

    Yours truly and forever,

I loved how Grandad was always smiling as we came through the door of his house and he would always say hello to us, he would always want us to be happy and safe. I will always remember all the times I had a chocolate with him from his pantry of lollies. I will always remember the fun times we had, like when we would have a bowl of chips and a milkshake from coffee club. You will be missed Grandad.

    Love always from Ruby Lee

    Dad,

It’s hard to put into words the amount I will miss you. You were my person. And I hope I can always live up to what you knew I could be, even when I couldn’t see it.

You were always there, with unwavering love and support, whatever life decided to throw our way. It was never too early or late to call you to share good news, and get guidance from you in times when I needed it the most. I will miss just calling and chatting to you about nothing and everything.

I know you were frustrated at not being able to watch as Ruby, Millie and Liam grow older and to see who they will eventually become, but know that they love you and will always have you in their memories for the rest of their lives. You have helped in shaping them into the no doubt loving and generous souls that they will grow up to be. Thank you for this, and I know they will miss Milkshakes and Chips with Grandad Joc.

I will always keep my cupboard stocked for you (with every type of chocolate, biscuits and sweets). I wish this was enough to bring you back, as there is nothing more that I want in the world.

I know you're resting now, choc milk, custard, two fruits and a bowl full of baby biscuits at arms reach. You earned it after one hell of a fight.

I love you. I miss you.

    Your son,

    Brett

To Bevan’s beloved children, and my dear brother Kevin and sister-in-law Sue. The beautiful, peaceful setting with the sun shining and birds singing was a fitting tribute to a special man. How wonderful to see so many family and friends say farewell. Bevan was a man who loved and was so proud of his family. He was always supportive and willing to help anyone. A special soul that will always be missed. A brother is someone who gives you lots to remember, to laugh about, to be grateful for, and to love.

Bevan - I will miss your smiling face. Take Care.

This morning, at Pinnaroo, we say a final farewell and reflect on the life and impact on the local community of a wonderful man - and stalwart of the Osborne Park Agricultural Society (OPAS) for over 60 years. He began his association with OPAS as a child volunteer with his family and subsequently joining the Committee as Secretary and later as Secretary/Treasurer. His wisdom, counsel and contribution to the Society was so highly valued that members honoured him with Life Membership in 1987. Having known Bevan for over 50 years I, my wife Dianne (nee Poole) and the extended Boyd and Poole families offer our sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies to Bevan's immediate and extended families, to his brother Kevin and sister-in-law Sue, to the members of OPAS and to the many people he befriended, counselled or has assisted over the years. Goodbye my friend! Lee Boyd.
