THOMSON (Bruce Franklin):
Born 4.12.1940 in Subiaco. Passed peacefully on 13 May 2017 after a long illness. Only son of Walter Thomson and Ruth Reading. Beloved Husband of Joy, Father to Karin and Kim. Much loved Grandfather to Sofia, Zoe, Helena, Brooke and Christian. Father-in-Law of Jim and Steve.
Words cannot express the overwhelming sadness we all feel. Your kind, gregarious and outgoing nature meant you were loved by so many. We were blessed to have you - we couldn't have wished for better.
We would like to thank the Staff and Nurses at Opan Nursing Home, Murdoch for their wonderful care.

(Bruce Franklin):
My darling Dad. I cannot believe this day has come. You have always been a dominant figure in my life who I have looked up to and admired. You have won the respect of many people by being genuine, loyal and honest with everyone in your life. You have been a protector, a provider, a best friend and a mentor to me right to the end. I will remember and share your words of wisdom with my own children. There is a big hole in my life now. I was so lucky and very proud to call you my Dad and you will live on in my heart.
Bye for now my beautiful Father Kari-Lee xxxx
THOMSON
(Bruce Franklin):
My heart is aching with sadness, my silent tears flow. For what it means to lose you, no one will ever know. You taught me to be loyal, faithful and strong, you taught me so many things including right from wrong. You have made me who I am today, to stand on my own two feet, and most of all you taught me love, the only love you could bring. My darling Dad, you will always be in my heart. Thank you for all your love, I will forever love you.
Your daughter, Kim
